After a record long Ironman event of over 21 straight hours of non-stop poker, Eric Chorr has come out victorious.

For his win, he takes home $43,020, the $10,000 LAPC Main Event Seat, the Remington Trophy and the Tag Heuer AquaRacer watch.

Eric Chorr raised to 19,000 before the flop and Isaac Hagerling moved all-in. Chorr immediately made the call and they showed:

The board ran out [9d][7s][6c][4h][5c] and Chorr improved to a straight.

Hagerling was eliminated in 2nd place and took home $21,210.

Stephen Ma moved all-in from under the gun and was call by Isaac Hagerling in the small blind. They turned over:

The board ran out [9d][4s][3c][Ac][Kd] and Hagerling won the pot to eliminate Ma in 4th place for $6,360.

LAPC Ironman Hour 20 Update - Longest Ironman Ever!

We are now four-handed in the $1,100 Ironman event.

We just passed the 39 minute mark in Level 20, meaning this is now officially the longest Ironman event ever!

Also of note, Ryan Tepen, currently second in chips, has yet to miss a single hand of play for the entire tournament.



Eric Chorr is the chip leader with almost 600,000 of the 990,000 in play.

The blinds are now 2,500-5,000 with a 500 ante and the average chip stack is 247,500.


LAPC Ironman: David Funkhouser Eliminated in 5th Place ($4,240)

The two chip leaders, David Funkhouser and Eric Chorr, just played the biggest pot of the Ironman tournament.

Funkhouser got all-in before the flop with [Kc][Ks] against the [Th][Ts] of Chorr. However, for the second time at the final table, kings were no good as the board ran out [Td][8h][5d][As][5s].

Funkhouser was eliminated in 5th place for $4,240 and Chorr is now the overwhelming chip leader with over 600,000 of 990,000 in play.

LAPC Ironman: Ryan Tepen Takes Some Beats But Still Alive

Ryan Tepen, who was the chip leader moments ago, had a rough couple of hands as indicated by the Tweet he sent out above.

First, he lost with [Ad][Js] against [2c][2d] when he flopped an ace but his opponent flopped a set.

Then, he had David Funkhouser all-in before the flop holding [Kh][Ks] to Funkhouser's [Ts][8d]. Tepen looked like he was going to eliminate Funkhouser until the board came [Jh][9h][7c][8c][3c].

Despite losing Funkhouser's flopped straight, Tepen took the beats with a smile on his face and is still alive with over 100,000 in chips with the blinds at 2,000-4,000 with a 500 ante.

Event 43 LAPC - $550 NLHE Seniors Event Underway

The $550 Seniors No-Limit Hold 'em event at the 2012 L.A. Poker Classic is now underway.

Players start with 7,500 in chips and the levels are 40 minutes in length.

There is a $10,000 LAPC Main Event seat added to the prize pool.

LAPC Ironman: Olivier Busquet Eliminated in 6th Place ($3,180)

A short stacked Olivier Busquet moved all-in from the small blind for his last 45,000 with [Ks][4s] and was called by the big blind with [Ad][4d].

Busquet could not improve and he was eliminated in 6th place for $3,180.

LAPC Ironman Hour 18 Update - 6-Handed

We are now entering the 18th hour of the $1,100 Ironman event.

Ryan Tepen looks to be the current chip leader with close to 290,000.

The blinds have been increased to 1,500-3,000 with a 500 ante.

With six players remaining, the average chip stack is now 165,000.

Young Ji has been eliminated from the Ironman event when he got all-in on a flop of [Qd][Jh][9d] with [As][Qc] against the [Ac][Ah] of Ryan Tepen.

Tepen's aces held when the [2s] and [8c] fell, sending Ji was sent to the rail in 7th place for $2,120.

LAPC Ironman: Dane Lomas Eliminated in 8th Place ($2,120)

Dane Lomas has just been eliminated in 8th place by Ryan Tepen. He takes home $2,120 for his finish.

McLean Karr has just been eliminated in 11th place in the Ironman event.

Karr got all-in with [As][Kh] against the [Qd][Qh] of Eric Chorr. Chorr's pocket queens were able to hold up to send Karr to the rail just short of the money.

With ten players remaining and nine spots finishing in the money, play is now hand-for-hand.

One player suggested taking money off of first place to pay the bubble but tournament officials quickly stepped in to remind the players that there are no deals of any sort allowed in the Ironman event.

LAPC Ironman Hour 13: Breakfast is Served

We are now in the 13th hour of the $1,100 Ironman event and we are down to 11 players.

Breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, danishes, coffee and orange juice was just served table side.

The blinds are currently 500-1,000 with a 100 ante and the average stack is 90,000 (90 big blinds).

David Funkhouser is the current chip leader with nearly 170,000 followed closely by Olivier Busquet with 150,000.

McLean Karr is still alive with 100,000 in chips as well as Ryan Tepen, who has 60,000.
